In a peaceful town, a young boy named Russ Halsey was known for his playful nature. Russ, or Russ Baylor, was always finding himself in all sorts of trouble at school.

One sunny and lively morning, Russ decided to play a prank on his classmates. He sneaked a fake spider into the teacher’s cabinet. When Mrs. Thompson, the friendly and understanding teacher, opened the cabinet, she jumped back in shock, making the whole class giggle uncontrollably.

One day, Russ carried his pet frog in his backpack. He showed it to his friends during recess, and everyone was excited. They named the frog Hopper.

Despite his mischievous behavior, Russ Halsey had a big heart. He loved to see people smile. Russ learned that being mischievous can be funny, but being responsible is better.
